Easy substitute for actual cream cheese...
Milk - 1 litre
Amul Cream - 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp or Vinegar - 2 tbsp
Boil milk, add lemon juice or vinegar. Stir until the cheese & whey water separates, Switch off the flame.Now drain water & wash it in cold water well to get rid of the lemon flavor.
Leave it aside for 30 mins for the water to drain.
Now add cream and mix well. Transfer it to the mixer and grind this to a very smooth paste & transfer this to muslin cloth & tie a knot and hang it.
Leave it aside for 2-3 hours till all the liquid drained completely.
Then collect cream cheese in a air tight bowl and refrigerate it overnight.
