10 small boiled Potatoes
1 big Onion finely chopped
4 tbsp cup thick Curd
1 bay Leaf
1 pinch asafoetida
1/2 tsp red chilli Powder
1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp cumin Seeds
1 Green cardamom
1 black cardamom
1 small cinnamon
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 Cloves
4 black pepper
5 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp chopped coriander Leaves
Salt to taste

Peel & prick the potatoes using a fork. Heat oil in a pan add potatoes & fry them over medium heat till light brown. transfer potatoes to a plate.
Now in same pan on low heat add cumin seeds, asafoetida and sauté for few seconds. Add bay Leaf, green cardamom, black cardamom, black pepper and saute. Add onion & fry until onion turns golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste & fry for few seconds.
Now add 2 tbsp water & all dry powder spices & fry till oil starts to separate.
Add curd & Stir continuously for 5 min. Now add fried potatoes, salt & mix well. If needed add 2 tbsp water. Cover & cook for 5 min.
Turn off the heat. Sprinkle coriander Leaves.
For Dark color of gravy fry onion & gravy well.
